The Downtown Merchants of Blacksburg

The Downtown Merchants of Blacksburg sponsors the annual Steppin' Out Festival which brings over 30,000 visitors to Blacksburg over a two-day period in August. Proceeds of the festival are reinvested in downtown.

The association has provided funding for park benches, brick pavers, the Farmers' Market, the Lyric Theatre, the Hand-in-Hand Playground, and scholarships.
